We spent a few days escaping the cold of SLC, trying to soak up some sun in St George.
After a long drive, with amazing little travelers, some major wiggles needed to be let out!
DIXIE PARK
We braved the crazy wind and took the kids to climb on the rocks at Dixie Park. Josh was more interested in playing in the sand, which was perfect for day 2...! Poor Jack was not feeling well AT ALL, and the wind almost knocking him down put him over the edge. But they did like finding the little hidey-holes!
We also visited the tabernacle, where some beautiful water features have been added. Josh decided to jump right in!
We thought it was pretty funny to come home from a tabernacle with a soaking wet Josh, who was wrapped in mom's jacket and just wearing his undies!
Isn't that what all tourists do?
Then cousin Gracie (and Jamie and Ryan) came to join us!!
More to come later...

You're making me homesick! I love those red hills so much it makes me want to cry. I don't teach next week beause of spring break, so the original plan was to spend 10 days with my family in St. George. But Wade really needs to work, so we won't leave until Friday moring, and then we're going to live it up. Wahoo! I'm so glad you guys had fun. Can't wait to see more pics and hear more stories!
that's crazy. it feels like not too long ago when it was Jason and me at Dixie Park finding the "hidey holes." man things change quickly.
I love Josh's face in that picture!
