Yep, I "borrowed" the title. It has 2 meanings, though. The first is that today we came home, and the second is that we did leave hot Vegas to find Autumn.
Here is proof that you can find the fall in Las Vegas, and much cooler temperatures,
(69 degrees) if you are willing to drive far enough. We drove up to Mt. Charleston to
hike and picnic.
Besides being shocked at the HUGE drop in temperature, we also found a waterfall. Okay, it was a trickle, but it was coming from somewhere! Josh was a good, little hiker, with some help from Aunt Jamie and Uncle Ryan. Poor Jack just had to stare at the back of Dan's head!
This was how Jack looked most of the time in the car. Lucky us!
Josh really did fall asleep like this. Doesn't he look so cool with his shades?!
This road trip was so successful that we are driving to northern CA in 10 days...

I love how Jack is just peeking over the top of the backpack! So funny!
Awesome, I love road trips! You are very lucky that your boys are doing well on them.
I can't wait to hear about what you do in Northern CA, take lots of pictures!
I'm kinda frustrated Jack has his little chompers poking through the gums in front. I swear the kid didn't have those in May when we were last there... Tell them to stop growing up so fast.
We just noticed yesterday that another one snuck up on the bottom, and it's almost 1/2 way in!
I miss hanging out with those little cuties, I really do. They are so sweet and funny! Chalk it up to good parenting I guess! :)
And if you want to see the Sharps while you're here, we'd love to have you! I think I told you we live between San Fran and San Jose didn't I? Anyway, let me know! I'd love to catch up a bit...
I love how Josh fell asleep in such a strange position! That's hilarious. And Jack's crooked little smile. I have a few pics I'll email to you from our hike. That was SO AWESOME! I'm glad we did that.
Fire and fish, that's how you can keep them entertained on your way to CA...okay maybe not, so good luck. Looks like you had a ton of fun in Vegas, that's an awesome picture of Josh in his car seat.
