L & L Wedding

Saturday was Lynsie's and Levi's wedding. (Dan's sister) We had a great day, but Josh had an extra special role. He was very excited about scattering petals down the aisle, or throwing them down! He did a great job, and loved being paired with Kenzie, Dan's youngest cousin.

This is Lynsie with her dad Russ and her stepdad Dan.
(both Dan and Lynsie each have a stepdad named Dan... FYI)

Lynsie and Levi
In Josh-ese: "Eee-eeh" and "Vi-vi"

Josh took most of the flowers of the chairs on the aisle for himself. Sorry Lynsie!

Yay for blowing bubbles!!

Brothers kissing the bride.

Josh and Jack thought aunt Lynsie was very pretty.

How to keep from losing a binky in public... or to keep from losing Jack.

Congratulations Lynsie and Levi!! We love you!

Any Privacy?

I can't believe that I have now wasted 45 minutes playing on Google Maps. If you haven't looked at your house on this thing, you gotta. I couldn't believe the time of year "the people" decided to get a shot of our home. It made me and Dan laugh. You'll see why.

I guarantee you'll start a search of your own, and before you know it a whole ton of time will be gone.

Happy searching!

Josh at Jack

Last night we took Josh to the Jack Johnson concert at Usana Amphitheater. For those of you who really know us, know that Dan and I looove concert-hopping. This actually wasn't even Josh's 1st concert. At 4 months, he saw Ben Harper (with us) at the Red Rocks theater in CO.

Jack Johnson's music is a HUGE part of our days with both boys. (yes, our Jack was partly named for "big" Jack) From Jack Johnson's music putting them to sleep in the car, or making us dance all over the house, there was no way we were not taking Josh.

Looking for any goods that mom brought. Sorry Josh, I couldn't smuggle anything but a diaper.

Yep, that's where "big" Jack will play his guitar.

This episode sponsered by Dasani water: official $3.50 water of your summer concerts.

"Nanner, nanner, nanner! We got an awesome seat and all of you are behind me."

Dan was representin' the hometown of Jack.

Mmm, Skittles. Taste the rainbow.

Jack Johnson did the soundtrack for Curious George; one of Josh's faves. Here is his reaction to the song from the opening scene of the movie. ('Upside Down') After every song, Josh would yell "MOY," which means "more" in Josh-ese.

Uncle Todd was there with his mom and a buddy, so they sat with us. Lucky Josh!!

The show went past 10:45, which is when we started for the car. Josh was pretty worn out by then, but still wanted "moy" after each song even though he couldn't keep his head up to watch. He was asleep before we left the parking lot!

Big & Little Snoop

A typical day at our house:
(Notice that Josh's face looks like the monkey on his shirt!)

Josh: Hey Jack, check this out. Mom is in the bathroom, so we have about 2 minutes to spread this stuff everywhere we can.

Jack: (not pictured, but surely there) Sorry big bro. I'm too busy sticking random things in my mouth. Have at it.

Josh: Okay but you are missing out. It's squishy. Cool.

Jack: Look what I found. Did you know about this and not tell me all this time? Some brother you are...

Jack: Hey, when I was your age this cabinet was locked all the time. Mom and Dad must be getting lazy.

Josh: Why do adults have so many weird things? I don't get what this is, but I can blow air through it. What are you finding?

Jack: Just more and more cups, lids, and my toes are pretty cool. Why did you ever stop sucking on yours?

Josh: None of your business.

Sweet Girls

Last night, as Dan and I pulled up to the front of our house, we noticed a bunch of stuff all over our door. (it was dark) The first thing out of Dan's mouth was, "Hey, did we get asked to a dance?" (for anyone from a Utah high school!)

We found all these tents (or teepee) cut-outs on our door, as well as a note attached to a bag of Tootsie Pops.

So as the note says, it was a big thank you for a fun stake girls' camp.  It was a lot of work, and I averaged maybe 4 hours at night, but it was fun. Thank you to all those cute girls who came to "TP" my house!

A Day in the Life...

We are lucky to have our dad at home every day. When he gets done working after nap time, we get to play.

Happy Jack loves to go to the park.

Daddy teaches Josh all about crazy jumping. You know, laying the foundation for future ______boarding.

So then, Josh has to do it to!

Jack loves to swing, high. Tough life right? (aren't those clouds amazing)

Let's hope for lots more warm weather this season so we can play lots. We don't look forward to being stuck inside when it gets cold.
